Piedmont Rheumatology Consultants
For patients who require biologic or immunosuppressive medications administered intravenously, our in-office infusion suite provides a safe, comfortable, and cost-effective alternative to hospital-based infusion centers. Each patient is continuously monitored by a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in preparing and administering intravenous solutions. One of our physicians is always present during infusions to address any questions or concerns. Common infusion medications we administer include Remicade (infliximab), Rituxan (rituximab), Orencia (abatacept), Actemra (tocilizumab), and Benlysta (belimumab), among others. Our infusion suite features comfortable reclining chairs, and patients are welcome to bring books, tablets, or other entertainment during their session.
